What the badges mean
Trust signals that mean something specific.
Marketplaces get untrustworthy when badges are decorative. Here is exactly what each one is, and what it is not.
Verified
SchedMate has confirmed the business's identity and business information. Paying to appear on Discover does not make a business Verified. They are separate states, recorded separately, and one never sets the other.
Verified SchedMate job
The review is attached to a job that was actually completed and recorded in SchedMate, and the customer chose to publish it. Ratings left privately as feedback to the business are never published without that consent.
Ranking
Listing payment decides whether a business can appear at all. It contributes nothing to the order of results. If paid placement is ever introduced it will be labelled Sponsored and kept out of the organic list.
